You might not know this, but your perfume preference actually says alot about your personality. So before you go and tell everyone what perfume you use, make sure you are not disclosing something about yourself 😉
Select a scent and try to stick to it. Our brains associate scent with certain people, insidents or specific memories. So it will be amazing if people can subconsciously connect you with an amazing fragrance.

Make your fragrance last longer:

1. Don’t overdo it. A small amount goes a long way. You do not need to fumigate the office with your newest purchase, or have an invisible cloud all around you all day. The ideal is to leave a sublte trace behind you when you leave a room, or that gentle touch on your man’s hoodie enough to make him miss you when you leave the house.

2. The best time to spray is right after you step out of the shower or bath. Heat opens up the pores of your skin and will absorb the fragrance better when the skin is clean and warm. For longer lasting effects, use with a matching body lotion.

3. Spray gently on the inside of your wrists, for every hand movement will release your fragrance. Spray behind the ears to enchant whoever might be hugging you. Spray inside your cleavage as this is an area that releases sweat when you get hot.

4. Never store your precious perfumes in the bathroom or a windowsill. The chemical composition of your perfume will change when exposed to heat, humidity and light. Store in a cool, dry place like a cupboard or a drawer.

5. Reapply your perfume every 6 to 8 hours after asking a trusted friend if she can still smell you. We adapt to scent quite quickly, resulting in us losing the ability to smell ourselves. Olfactory Adaptation is the inability to smell our own breath, body odour and evidently our own perfume.
