I’m no expert with make-up, but I received my first compliment today!

Thanks to my amazing AVON lady (aka me) for keeping me stocked up with all the best goodies, and a dear friend’s crash course on how to colour in your face…I can now not look like the tired plain Jane I am inside😜

Here is what I use:

It all starts with a very good skincare routine. A gentle gel cleanser, soft scrub, toner (love that icey feeling) and a good facial cream with SPF…because we are grownups now.

Next step, the dreadful make-up routine. I use to hate applying make-up because it made me feel like someone’s hands are cupping my face the entire day! These however, I can’t feel at all. Except my lashes…I was blessed with long ones, so long that they touch my sunglasses when I blink…somewhat annoying really;)

Start with a great concealer, close to perfect foundation, little bits of contouring and your stage is set. I absolutely love the 2in1 brush with the spongy thingy at the bottom…it’s cute and it’s rose gold…love!

Next I do my eyebrows with the amazing tattoo pen AVON launched recently, add some (often terribly scew) liquid eyeliner and blend and blend and blend different eyeshadows until I look somewhat like a person knowing what I’m doing 🙂 I add mascara to my lashes, making them so long and beautiful you won’t even notice that my eyebrows are uneven!

My lips are blessed with the new tattoo lipliner and 16hour lipcolour. Who has time to touch up every few hours? And then, the final magic touch to end my masterpiece…AVON Setting Spray. I recommend spraying once next to your face and then on your face to avoid that shock of cold spray and flinching. I don’t know why but it makes me feel less nervous if my brain knows what to expect next.
